My name is Jae Min 민재홍. I am a Korean translator and interpreter. I’ve been working in IT and translation industry since 2005 (longer with my school years). As myself as a translator in the language pairs, EN<>KO, DE>KO, JP>KO, I’ve been trying to generate natural wordings when involved with translating and editing. As time goes by, I see a lot of professional translators are joining this field and at the same time I see poorer quality keep flowing in (sometimes it is kicking out round stones). You as a reader or reviewer may find many different writing styles and tones out there and sometimes get frustrated with unnatural flows in context. The same experience comes to me oftentimes.
I would like to present and share some of the unpleasant translations and edits via my blogs here at wordpress.com. Please understand that my blog talks about translation quality and will be used for my own references. Should anyone don’t agree to any threads please feel free to leave a comment.
