Classes are indicated with large numbers ‘1’ and ‘2’ on the outside of the train, as well as inside the cars. Some smaller regional trains may not have a class distinction. A 1st class Eurail pass also entitles you to travel in 2nd  class cars. However, 2nd class pass holders, must purchase an upgrade in order to travel 1st class on a particular journey.
차량 내부와 외부에 등급을 알리는 ‘1’과 ‘2’가 크게 표시되어 있습니다. 일부 작은 지방 열차는 클래스 구분이 없을 수도 있습니다. A 1등석 유레일 패스를 갖고 계시면 2등석 객실에서 여행할 수 있습니다. 그러나 2등석 패스 소지자가 특정 여행에서 1등석을 이용하려면 승급권을 구매해야 합니다.
->’some smaller regional trains’ reads a dictionary meaning, ‘smaller trains for small towns.’ The indefinite article ‘a’ remains in translation without being proofread. Seems that translator didn’t recognize the grammatical function of the ‘A.’ The noun ‘upgrade’ is translated into an actual ticket ‘upgrade ticket.’
