How to fix slow audio in after effects
If you’re experiencing slow audio (mp3, wav, flac, ogg, etc) in After Effects, there are a few things you can do to try and fix the issue. It says that the file format in mp3 is troublesome in After effects, but I find it’s misleading.
First, try changing the frame rate of your project to match the footage you’re working with. To do this, go to File > Project Settings > General and change the Frame Rate drop-down to match the footage or reset the frame rate (please see the screenshot below)
Next, try deleting your cache files. To do this, go to Preferences > Media & Disk Cache and click on the Clear Disk Cache button.
Finally, if none of these solutions work, try restarting your computer.
