On the morning of the 20th, two foreign nationals who were staying in Korea rode skateboards down a slope in an alleyway in Itaewon, Seoul. A sign on the floor of the alley read ‘No Entry’, but they were unable to slow down and crashed into a truck at the corner. The incident was captured on video and spread through online communities under the title “Itaewon Alley Boarding”. In response, police were dispatched to investigate.
After examination, neither of those involved suffered serious injury and both parties agreed to settle without making any reports. The two foreign nationals are expected to leave Korea soon.
