A man was spotted approaching a house in Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture. He took a look around before ringing the doorbell and then walking away from the doorway. At first, he wasn’t wearing any gloves; however, when there was no response from inside, he put them on and added a knitted hat while sitting on a bench in the garden. Later on, he climbed through an open window and left after about five minutes.
The inhabitant of the home, aged 60 years old reported that sixty thousand yen (USD 431.00) had been taken out of a drawer in his second-floor bedroom. Unfortunately he had neglected to close the living room window which led him to file a report with local law enforcement officers.
